I'm JP, a software engineer and technical lead near Québec City. For 15+ years I've built mobile apps, web platforms and the cloud plumbing underneath them — for startups, a research hospital (CRIUCPQ), a real-estate platform I co-founded, and Ticketmaster.
I'm most useful where product, design and engineering meet: I'll sit with you to figure out what's worth building, then build it, then make sure it stays up. Day to day that's Next.js, React, React Native, TypeScript and Postgres; Go, Rails, Java and AWS when the job calls for them.
I work with small and mid-size teams in tech, real estate and finance — as your first engineer, a fractional CTO, or the person who finally migrates the thing everyone's afraid to touch.
